Heavyweight Rubber Leg Stoneflies

Euro style Pats rubber leg stonefly. A nice size stonefly is hard for most trout to resist considering the amount of protein each one packs. These flies are tied with 2 tungsten beads (4.0 and 3.3mm) and lead wraps to get them down close to the bottom where the trout prowl. Tied on Ahrexs new FW554 hook specially made for euro style flies. We use this fly mostly as an anchor fly in a tight line setup, but it also works great on its own for most trout / steelhead applications.
